Our first weekend retreat!

A few months ago Yoshie got a grant from the Peleh Residency Alumni foundation (A program of Asylum Arts at The Neighborhood) to turn short Jewish/yiddish folklore inspired stories written by our sister Temim into a live performance including puppetry, original music and more. This trip was our first in person gathering and brainstorming session, and we’re both really excited about what’s to come!

Our retreat timed perfectly with the Portland Jewish Music Festival! Saturday night Yoshie played a concert with Jake Shulman-Ment at Eastside Jewish Commons.
